Pricing
Care is paid for privately, except when covered by long-term care insurance. We do not accept Medicare or private insurance. Explore our rates and payment details below.
Honesty
We publish our basic rates so you can understand the general cost of the services you are considering. Clear, consistent pricing is part of our commitment to acting with integrity and treating every individual and family with dignity and respect. Our rates depend on the care and assistance needed, never on your financial circumstances.
No Long-Term Commitment
When you’re ready to begin care with us, there is no long-term commitment. Our simple Service Agreement lets you change or cancel services with 24 hours’ notice.
Before care begins, we collect a deposit equal to one week of service, which is credited toward your final week. Billing is weekly, and you can pay by credit or debit card, check, or ACH bank payment.
As Needs Change
As your loved one’s needs change, the support they receive can change too. Whether they need more help or are ready to do more on their own, we’ll discuss what’s working well and how their support needs have changed, then adjust the care plan and schedule together.

Your Questions, Answered
A little clarity can make the next step feel easier.
How do you screen your caregivers?
Our caregivers are Paragon employees. We conduct criminal background checks and reference checks, and verify relevant credentials before assigning work that requires them.
How do you choose a caregiver for my loved one?
Our free consultation gives us time to learn about your loved one’s needs, preferences, and daily routines. We use that conversation and the agreed care plan to help identify a caregiver suited to the support they need.
What if the caregiver isn’t the right fit?
Feeling comfortable with the person providing care matters. Tell us your concerns, and we’ll talk them through with you and work to find a better match.
What if we only need a short visit?
Tell us about the help you need and the schedule you have in mind. We discuss visit lengths individually so we can explain what we can offer for your situation.
Can you provide care in a senior living community?
Yes. We provide companion care and personal care in senior living communities, including independent living and memory care settings. We’ll discuss the additional support your loved one needs and any requirements of the community.
Can you help in a nursing home or rehabilitation facility?
Yes. With the facility’s approval, we can provide additional companionship and personal assistance. This support complements the services your loved one receives from the facility.
What does private pay mean?
Private pay means you or your family pays Paragon directly for services. If you have long-term care insurance, your policy may reimburse eligible expenses. We provide invoices and care records for you to submit to your insurer; coverage depends on your policy.
